David Gerrits, President

As a highly accomplished visionary president, David is a third generation construction president with over thirty-five years of experience in the industry. He has a successful record in overseeing all phases of construction projects for government, educational, and private-sector clients. David's history includes managing projects in sixteen states domestically, in addition South America, the Middle East, Canada, and including most of the counties in Florida. David consults with his clients directly to ensure the highest levels of quality while maintaining full adherence to all deadlines, schedules and budgets. He and his team work with clients to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work. The enduring core family values of this third generator construction president, David, and his team focus on individual relationships with our clients is the foundation on which our company is built. 





Tommy LawlessVice President - Project Manager

Tom has managed projects ranging from high-rise apartments and offices, multi-million dollar hotels and resorts, shopping centers, manufacturing plants and healthcare facilities. He provides client's of Gerrits with years of experience in cost estimating, design techniques and project management. Tom is instrumental in performing value engineering analysis's during the pre-construction phase to maximize client’s return on investment.  Additionally, as project manager, Tom is responsible for directing and overseeing the overall operation of the project, including estimating, purchasing, project administration, subcontract coordination and labor management during all phases of the work.




Ross Lumsden, Vice President - Project Manager

Ross joined Gerrits Construction in 2005 and is responsible for the planning, organization, and management of the day to day operations of our clients projects.  His experience in the construction industry includes estimating, field supervision, and strict adherence to a project's standards of safety and efficiency.  Ross manages all phases of the construction project life-cycle and has a successful record of completing multimillion dollar projects for Gerrits clients. Ross's team leadership of the Jupiter Medical Center project resulted in successfully passing fifteen AHCA reviews without comments from the state inspection teams.





Willie Walker, Jr., Project Manager

Willie began his career as a laborer with Gerrits. His career path has involved all facets of construction management from pre-construction, superintendent, and finally project manager. Willie's work ethic and positive relationships assure a superior project for Gerrits clients. Willie is a second generation employee for Gerrits. He is following in the footsteps of his father, Willie Sr. who has been apart of the company for over fifty years. His focus has been in the healthcare industry, but has gained experience in other fields throughout the years working for Gerrits Construction. .


Ronald Mary, Director of Pre-Construction Services

As director of pre-construction services Ronald is responsible for the supervision coordination and successful completion of the preconstruction phase to assure our customers objectives and meet. Ronald's ability to resolve issues fast and communicating the results along with giving alternative solution to various opportunities is one of his strongest assets. He handles all the challenges that are connected to the project, from over seeing subcontractors scopes and assuring that they not only meet the plans and specification but more importantly meets the owner's intent.
